Tramadol prescriptions are issued to patients suffering from moderate to severe physical pain by interacting with the nervous system and the brain to target nerves that trigger the pain stimuli.
However, aside from pain, tramadol prescriptions are also written off for patients with symptoms of mild temporal neurological disorders like depression and anxiety to alleviate occurrences of perceived pain among the patients. Tarmadol prescriptions can be generic or branded like Ultram and Tramal.
Tramal is developed by German pharmaceutical firm GrĂ¼nenthal GmbH. It contains tramadol hydrochloride, an active ingredient that works like the pain-reducing chemical endorphin. Tramal is prescribed for cancer pain, cervical root disorders, neurophatic pain, meralgia paraesthetica and diabetic neuropathy. Other branded prescriptions like Medtrap (Neomed) Ultram and Ultram ER which works in the same way as Tramal have been licensed by GrĂ¼nenthal GmbH to other pharmaceutical manufacturers.
Whether branded or generic, tramadol prescriptions, as long as they are issued by duly-licensed physicians, are both effective and safe to use in accordance with the pharmaceutical instructions.
The Center for Drug Evaluation and Research of the US Food and Drug Administration assures patients that stringent industry standards in pharmaceutical products are applied to both branded and generic medications – effective, fast-acting and safe. They are also administered in the same way in terms of dosage, method and cycles. In the same way, both versions have the same side effects. Patients can discuss with their physicians the type of tramadol prescriptions they are comfortable with.
